Before and after bilateral nipple-sparing mastectomies and immediate prepectoral implant reconstruction in a 48-year-old woman with left breast cancer. She chose to have a mastectomy on both sides to reduce her risk of recurrence, given that she had three children and was still pre-menopausal.
She chose to have her implants inflated fuller than her preoperative breast volume, and viewed this surgery as her "Mommy Makeover" and "no more breast cancer" journey. A mastopexy was performed at the time of port removal to provide better symmetry to her nipple position.
Follow up photos are shown 3 months after surgery, with maturing incisions and her final breast shape.
