53-year-old woman with a history of right-sided breast cancer, chemotherapy and radiation. Her right breast was reconstructed with a DIEP flap, and her left breast had a balancing mastopexy. She achieved symmetry, an aesthetic breast reconstruction with a natural and perky contour, and a flat belly that prompted her to start wearing bikinis again! Her nipple and areola has recently been reconstructed as a short outpatient procedure. The tattoo pigment still looks bright; this will fade to a more natural tone over months.
