64-year-old woman with right breast cancer. She chose to have a bilateral mastectomy and immediate reconstruction using her abdominal tissue. Her right breast was a nipple-sparing procedure but her left nipple and areola required removal. Bilateral DIEP flap reconstructions recreated a natural breast size and shape with slightly more fullness to her breast reconstructions. Her tummy became flatter and smoother with closure of the DIEP flap donor site. Postoperative images after she completed chemotherapy but before left nipple and areola reconstruction are shown.
