Before and after bilateral breast augmentation in a 44 year old woman. She had been considering getting breast implants for years, and was finally ready. She was very thin; her goal was to look very natural with a subtle result.
Smooth round silicone gel breast implants were placed on top of the muscle, in the subglandular position. Postoperatively, she took one week off work and three weeks off exercise and traveling for work.
Follow up photos are shown 5 weeks after surgery. Since her breasts were dense and small to begin with and she had not had children (which often causes emptiness of the breast and makes augmentation recovery easier), postoperative swelling is still pushing implants up higher than their final position. We will see her back next at 6 months.
