Before and after bilateral breast reduction and liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 22 year old woman. She found it nearly impossible to go shopping or buy swimsuits, and exercise involving any bouncing was painful. And she did not look like a youthful young woman who had never had children!
A breast reduction removed some heavy breast tissue but kept a proportional amount of breast volume behind. A local tissue rearrangement created an “auto-augmentation” effect, reshaping her breasts to be perkier, round and shapely, higher up on her chest.
Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery. Her scars reached their “peak ugliness” around 3 months and are now starting to fade in their redness, firmness and itchiness. Scars will likely take a full year or more to completely fade to their mature final state.
