Before and after breast reconstruction in a 63 year old woman who had completed chemotherapy and radiation after a left lumpectomy for recurrent breast cancer. She wanted to keep her breasts if possible and to be smaller breasted overall.
Her breast reconstruction consisted of a breast reduction and lift. Excess fat was liposuctioned away from her armpit region and bra roll (the axillary rolls). Follow up photos are shown 6 weeks after surgery. She looks “stitched” as expected, and she’s nearly ready to start scar therapy.
