Before and after bilateral breast reduction in a 38 year old woman. She had painful, hanging breasts that caused neck pain, shoulder grooves and chronic back pain. A two year trial of oral anti-inflammatory medication and physical therapy had not helped at all.
A breast reduction removed much of her heavy breast tissue and reshaped her breasts. Her areolas were reduced and her nipples lifted up higher on the breast mound. Liposuction removed unwanted fat from her armpit region (axillary rolls), the bra roll and her upper back.
Early follow up photos are shown 4 months after surgery. She is doing scar therapy presently. Based on past surgery scars, she knows it will likely take her breast reduction scars a year and a half to two years to finally fade.
