Before and after labiaplasty in a 39 year old woman. She wanted to not see extra folds of dark labia minora when she looked down or at herself in the mirror.
A labiaplasty trimmed excess labia minora tissue but left behind the upper smooth labia to allow for continued function – mucous production and avoidance of friction.
Follow up photos are shown 3 weeks after surgery. Much of her swelling has resolved. She can resume exercise now and intercourse when she feels comfortable.
