Before and after breast reduction and lift in a 31 year old woman. She had lost over 150 pounds after a lap band procedure and her breasts had become deflated and droopy, with her nipples pointing to the floor – known as Grade 3 ptosis. She wanted to remain proportional to the rest of her body and to have an improved breast shape.
Excess breast skin was removed with a small amount of lower pole breast tissue, and the remainder of her breast was reshaped into a perkier and more round form. Her areola diameter was reduced and her nipples lifted to a higher position on the breast. Liposuction removed excess fat from her armpit region, bra roll and upper back.
Early follow up photos are shown 6 weeks after surgery. She is ready to begin scar therapy and resume light exercise.
