Before and after breast reduction and lift in a 34 year old mother. As part of her Mommy Makeover, she wanted her breasts to be a little smaller (but not too small), lifted and more symmetric. The goal of any Plastic Surgery procedure is to help patients feel more comfortable in their skin – whether that is improved symmetry, form or function.
Her breast reduction and lift removed excess heavy breast tissue from the bottom of her breasts and reshaped her remaining breast to a perkier and more youthful shape. Her areola diameter was reduced and her nipples were lifted to a higher position on the breast. Liposuction removed fat from her armpit region (axillary rolls) and reduced the bra roll/back fat area.
Early follow up photos are shown 3 months after surgery. Her scars are starting to mature; she will apply scar gel and do scar massage (scar therapy) for the next 6-9 months.
