Before and after labiaplasty in a 32 year old woman. She was a professional athlete and experienced discomfort daily due to her excess labia minora tissue. She wanted a “trimmed look down there” but not to look overly surgical.
A labiaplasty removed excess hanging labia minora using the trim technique, which is the preference in our office. The labia minora tissue was trimmed from back to front, including a small pinching of skin from the clitoral hood. This smoothed out the front of her clitoral area, without affecting sensation at all.
Postoperatively, she worked from home for a week and resumed exercise without restrictions at one month. Follow up photos are shown 4 months after surgery.
She no longer even is aware of her labia when teaching spinning or running – which is an ideal result! Her labia area looks normal and natural. She is very happy with her decision to have a labiaplasty.
