Before and after breast revision in a 62 year old breast cancer survivor. Over 20 years ago she underwent bilateral mastectomies and implant reconstructions. Her last surgery involved placement of silicone gel breast implants that rippled due to her thin skin overtop.
A revision involved removal and replacement of just the right breast implant with a more highly cohesive silicone gel implant. These stiffer implants tend to have less rippling. Her left breast wise fine and she chose to leave it alone.
Follow up photos are shown three weeks after surgery. She now feels comfortable wearing any type of neckline and her rippling is gone!
