Before and after breast augmentation in a 57 year old woman. She had undergone several weight fluctuations over the last decade and found that her breasts were deflated. She was not looking to look “fake” or like she had had a “boob job”; she merely wanted to fill out her bra again.
Her goal was to fill out the “ski jump” upper pole of her breast to a natural teardrop shape. Her nipples and areolas were out to the side and in a low position. She was also a candidate for a breast lift to raise the position of her nipples and areolas, but she was not interested in this.
Smooth round silicone gel breast implants were placed on top of the muscle as a straightforward outpatient procedure. She took a week off work and resumed exercise at three weeks.
Follow up photos are shown at 6 months after surgery. She achieved her goals, which is the most important outcome in Plastic Surgery!
