Before and after DIEP flap breast reconstruction in a 55 year old woman with a recurrent unusual breast growth called Phylloides tumor. She had failed breast conservation and required a mastectomy and reconstruction. She wished to be reconstructed smaller than her current breast size.
A right mastectomy was designed through a breast reduction pattern. Her nipple and areola could not be saved. A left breast reduction was performed at the same time. A few months later, her right nipple was reconstructed by local flap and medical tattoo.
Follow up photos are shown 4 months after her DIEP flap and breast reduction and one month after nipple and areola reconstruction.
