Before and after bilateral mastopexy and liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 40 year old woman. Her breasts had enlarged during pregnancy and nursing her children, and now were deflated, with stretched out nipples and a shape she could not stand! She did not want to be larger than her size naturally; just lifted!
A breast lift three dimensionally reshaped her breasts so that all the breast tissue lay above the fold after surgery. Her areola diameter was reduced as part of the mastopexy. Liposuction permanently removed stubborn fat from her armpit area and her back fat/bra rolls.
Follow up photos are shown one year after surgery. Her scars are nearly mature, and her shape has endured. She only wears a bra “when absolutely necessary” – usually she just wears soft bralettes to conceal her nipples, but not for support. Wearing a bra is NOT necessary after a breast lift or breast reduction!
