Before and after liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 24 year old woman. This part of her chest had always bothered her. She was planning a breast lift procedure and wanted to tackle this fat at the same time.
In my practice, we critically examine the axillary roll area and determine whether contouring of stubborn armpit fat will improve the overall cosmetic results of every breast surgery. For this patient, the answer was yes!
Liposuction of the axillary rolls was done together with her breast lift procedure. Fat was permanently removed by way of two 3 mm incisions that were hidden in her armpit creases. Follow up photos are shown at 6 months after surgery.
