Before and after revision breast surgery in a 35 year old woman. Her previously augmented breasts had become hard, distorted and uncomfortable, with unsightly, stretched out scars. From the side, she had a “Snoopy deformity”, where her breast tissue hung off the implant like Snoopy the cartoon dog’s nose.
A capsulectomy was performed bilaterally to remove constricting scar tissue from around her implants and to create a more natural pocket for the implants. Her old saline implants were exchanged for the newest smooth, round silicone gel gummy bear implants.
Her scars were revised to reduce her areola diameter to one that looked more natural, and her excess drooping breast skin was lifted. Follow up photos are shown at three months after surgery. She looks natural and now feels comfortable with her bra off in intimate situations.
