Before and after breast reduction in a 49 year old woman with oversized, pendulous and heavy breasts and significant size discrepancy preoperatively. She was experiencing pain in her neck, shoulders and back and found it nearly impossible to exercise with her large breasts. She was overweight and had mild hypertension (high blood pressure) and pre-diabetes (high blood sugar). She was medically cleared by her Internist for surgery.
A breast reduction removed much of her heavy breast tissue and reshaped her remaining breast into a perkier and more youthful shape. Follow up images are shown at 6 months after surgery. She feels like she “has a new lease on life” and is exercising regularly now, resulting in weight loss and normalization of her blood pressure and blood sugar!
