Before and after breast revision in a 48 year old woman. She had saline implants placed several years ago. Unfortunately, her tubular breast shape was not recognized or addressed in this procedure, which contributed to her dissatisfaction with her breasts. She wanted fuller breasts that were proportional to her curvy figure and had a nicer look.
She also had a significant amount of fat in her axillary roll (armpit) region. Removal of this fat with liposuction was planned to give her the very best aesthetic results.
The old saline implants were removed and replaced with slightly larger smooth round silicone gel (gummy bear) implants that sat slightly lower on her chest for a more natural look. The inframammary fold was lowered as for all tubular breast corrections, which improved the relative position of her nipple and areola on the breast.
Liposuction of the axillary rolls removed over a cup of fat from each side! Liposuction of the back fat/bra roll and axillary roll is usually added to breast procedures to optimize aesthetics for every patient.
Follow up photos are shown at 4 months after surgery. She loves her new breasts, and no longer needs to pad her bra to get the look she wants. She is wearing tank tops freely without being self-conscious about her fatty armpits.
