Before and after bilateral breast augmentation in a 53 year old woman. She had always had small and tubular shaped breasts; after menopause and lifestyle changes, she had lost weight and her breasts had become even smaller. She had extremely defined pectoralis major muscles – she knew she did not want implants under her muscle.
A breast augmentation reshaped her breasts and added volume to her chest. Smooth round silicone gel breast implants were placed on top of the muscle, in the subglandular position.
Follow up photos are shown one month after surgery. Because we always use drains for breast implant cases, she had minimal swelling and resumed exercise last week.
