Before and after bilateral breast scar revision in a 28-year-old woman. Several years after her mastopexy augmentation and a few weight fluctuations, her right nipple and areola sat lower than the right side. She had also lost some areola pigment due to delayed healing of her right areola.
Her revision involved lifting the right nipple and areola via a crescentic excision and medical tattoo to fill in two small areas of hypopigmentation after her past surgery. This procedure was performed in the office under local anesthesia.
Follow up photos are shown 3 years after surgery. She was grateful she did not have to go to sleep for this revision, and that it was so simple! The last image shows the surgical plan for her revision.
