Before and after bilateral explantation in a 42-year-old woman with twenty year old silicone gel breast implants. She felt her breast implants no longer suited her, and she wanted them out of her body.
Breast implant removal was performed under local anesthesia, taking just over an hour to complete. She showered in two days and resumed exercise in two weeks.
Follow up photos are taken just two weeks after surgery. It is amazing how quickly the breast rebounds and assumes its former size and shape! She immediately felt less top-heavy and more comfortable in her skin – and several pounds lighter!
