Before and after bilateral breast implant revision in a 25-year-old woman with malposition of her previously placed breast implants. The right side was contracted and sat up too high on the chest (superior malposition), and the left implant sat too low and crossed the midline, distorting her cleavage (bottoming out and symmastia).
Her revision involved right capsulectomy, left inframammary fold reconstruction and suture correction of the symmastia, closing off the left internal medial pocket (toward the midline). New smooth round silicone gel breast implants were placed in the subglandular position.
Follow up photos are shown 2 years after surgery, with good maintenance of implant position correction.
