Before and after breast revision in a 55-year-old woman with congenital breast asymmetry. She had prior breast augmentation and a right lumpectomy, which was benign.
Her revision involved replacement of her right implant and a left augmentation with smooth round silicone gel breast implants together with a mastopexy (breast lift) and liposuction of the axillary rolls.
Long-term follow up photos are shown 5 years after surgery. Her scars are mature, her nerves have completely recovered, and she is finally comfortable in her own body. She will now follow up every 5-10 years. Future surgery will only be recommended if she develops a complication or wishes to have change in her breasts.
