Before and after bilateral breast implant removal in a 38 year old woman. Her implants were relatively large for her slender frame and were under the muscle, causing the sensations of tightness and the need to always stretch out her shoulders and chest, particularly on her dominant right side. She felt the implants no longer represented her natural, organic lifestyle; she sought a fresh start to her body without implants.
Explantation was done under local anesthesia in the office. Postoperatively, she showed in two days and returned to exercise in two weeks. Follow up photos are shown two years after surgery.
