Before and after bilateral nipple reduction as part of a Mommy Makeover in a 40-year-old woman. She felt self-conscious that her nipples protruded so far out and always wore a padded bra to conceal them.
A nipple reduction reduced the height of each nipple by approximately half. Dissolving sutures were used to repair the surface of the nipple. Her recovery involved not exercising for a full six weeks after an abdominoplasty; if just the cosmetic nipple procedure had been done, recovery would have been two weeks.
Follow up photos are shown 1 year after surgery.
