Before and after left inverted nipple correction. At the same time as a breast reduction and lift, this patient wanted improved symmetry with her right nipple, which was everted (out).
A left inverted nipple correction was performed at the same procedure. This is not always possible, due to swelling of the breasts and the amount of tension on the tissue. It is usually an intraoperative decision after the major breast surgery is completed.
In this case, it was possible to perform inverted nipple repair at the end of her breast lift and reduction with liposuction of the axillary rolls. Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery.
