Before and after bilateral nipple reduction in a 48-year-old woman with hypertrophic (enlarged and elongated) nipples.
She felt embarrassed every time she wore a tank top, and often put Band-Aids against her nipples to hold them down so that they would not be attracting unwanted attention.
A nipple reduction trimmed the length of her nipples but maintained normal sensation to the remaining nipple tissue. Follow up photos are shown 6 weeks after surgery.
