Before and after bilateral nipple reduction in a 42-year-old woman. Together with a breast lift, she wanted to reduce the size of her nipples. She was self-conscious about their size, feeling the need to keep them covered with nipple shields, even in a bra.
A nipple reduction reduced the size, projection and diameter of her nipples. Dissolving sutures slowly went away on their own. She retained normal sensation to her remaining nipple.
Follow up photos are shown 1 year after surgery. She is comfortable without a bra and no longer feels the need to hide her nipples!
