Before and after breast reduction in a 51 year old woman with extremely heavy and hanging breasts. She had all the related symptoms of “macromastia”.
A breast reduction removed much of the heavy hanging breast tissue, but kept a proportionate amount of tissue, which was reshaped to a higher and more youthful position. Liposuction of the axillary rolls complimented her surgery, removing excess fat from the underarm region and the back fat/bra roll.
Long term follow up photos are shown two years after surgery. Her scars are now mature and she has a new lease on life!
