Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 59-year-old woman. She had asymmetry of her breasts and significant “ptosis” (droop), which caused pain in her neck and shoulders.
Her breast reduction created better symmetry, smaller and lifted breasts, and alleviated her physical complaints related to her large and heavy breasts. Liposuction of the axillary rolls further reshaped the armpit and sides of the breasts.
Follow up photos are shown at 8 months after surgery. Her scars are still dark and raised, as expected. They will take a full year or longer to mature and lighten.
