Before and after breast reduction in a 24 year old woman. She had trouble running and performing physical activity due to the size and weight of her breasts. She also had asymmetry of the breasts and nipples. Follow up images at 6 months after surgery are shown.
A breast reduction made her breasts more proportional to her frame, keeping a youthful and feminine result. A robust blood supply, nerve supply and ductal supply was maintained to her nipple to enable the possibility of future breast feeding and return of erogenous sensation to the nipple.
Liposuction of the axillary rolls and the sides of her breasts helped to defat this region and accentuate the cosmetic results overall.
