Before and after breast reduction in a 41 year old woman. She experienced all the expected symptoms of extremely large breasts (macromastia) prior to surgery.
Early follow up images are shown at 2 months after reduction mammoplasty surgery, which included liposuction of the axillary rolls (bra roll). She has donated all her old bras to a cancer foundation and just wears light sports bras for exercise, which she now actually enjoys!
She has just started scar therapy and her incisions are expectedly pink and slightly raised. Since she had a wide breast base to begin with, the incision in the fold under her breast lies within the natural “footprint” of her breast. It is hidden in bras and bikini tops.
Over the next year her scars will gradually fade and flatten. Her breast size and shape has settled, and she remains proportionate to her frame.
