Before and after bilateral breast reduction and liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 26-year-old woman. Her breasts had grown completely out of proportion to her small frame, especially when she went on birth control. Even after stopping taking oral contraceptives, they stayed large, heavy, and hanging. She wanted a significant reduction in size so that she could run without pain.
A breast reduction removed over two pounds of tissue from each breast. Liposuction removed over a liter of fat from her armpit region and bra rolls. Follow up photos are shown 4 weeks after surgery before she moved out of state. She is ready to begin scar therapy and is so excited to run her first half marathon!
