Before and after bilateral breast revision and liposuction of the axillary rolls in an 18-year-old woman with macromastia and congenital breast asymmetry. She had difficulty exercising due to the large size of her breasts, experienced pain in her neck, shoulders and upper back, and found buying bathing suits and dresses extremely difficult!
A breast reduction removed over a full pound of breast tissue from each side. Liposuction removed excess fat from her bra rolls and armpits. After surgery, she laid low for a full month. She planned her surgery after high school graduation, as many of our teenage patients do, so that she had the full summer to recover before going off to college.
Follow up photos are shown 5 months after surgery. Over the next year or two, her scars will continue to fade, and she will look even nicer!
