Before and after bilateral secondary (redo) breast reduction and liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 34-year-old woman. Her original breast reduction was when she was fifteen years old. Since that time, she had gotten married and had children. She was looking for her breasts to be smaller and lifted again, and to have better symmetry to her breasts.
A breast reduction removed three quarters of a pound from each breast. The auto-augmentation technique was used to reshape her remaining breast tissue. Liposuction removed a half liter of fat from her armpits and bra rolls.
Early follow up photos are shown 2 months after surgery. Her areolas are smaller, and her nipples have not yet woken up. Her scars are pink as expected for so early on postop, and she still has visible swelling, puckers and pleating of her skin around the incisions. She is ready to begin scar therapy and feels so much more comfortable in her skin!
