Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 43-year-old woman. Despite never having children, her breasts had grown and drooped exponentially in the time since she developed during her teens.
Three kilograms of excess breast tissue (over seven pounds!) of breast tissue, skin and fat was surgically removed from EACH breast. Her remaining breast tissue was reshaped and lifted using the auto-augmentation technique. Liposuction removed two liters of fat from her bra rolls and armpit regions. After surgery, she took a full six weeks off her physically demanding job.
Follow up photos are shown 5 months after surgery. She still has some surgical swelling and distortion of her breasts and fullness in the liposuction area that will gradually resorb and smooth out over the next year.
