Before and after bilateral breast reduction and liposuction of the axillary rolls in an 18-year-old woman. She felt her breast size was out of proportion to the rest of her body, and that her breasts looked as if she was already a mother who had breastfed babies – which she certainly was not!
A breast reduction removed approximately half of her heavy breast tissue and rearranged the rest of her breasts into a more shapely form. Liposuction removed excess fat from her armpits and bra rolls.
After surgery, she lost a significant amount of weight. Long-term follow up photos are shown 5 years after surgery, with mature scars and an enduring result.
