Before and after bilateral tubular breast correction using the auto-augmentation mastopexy technique with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 24-year-old woman.  She disliked the tubular shape of her breasts and her large, puffy areolas.  She did not want to be any bigger and was not looking for a breast implant – just a “more normal shape” to her breasts.

A small amount of breast tissue was removed from each side in order to slightly reduce her size but keep a proportional size to the rest of her body.  A local tissue rearrangement reshaped her breast tissue and created a rounder shape, a smaller areola and corrected the former tubular breast shape.  Liposuction removed fat from her armpits and bra rolls.

Early follow up photos are shown 4 weeks after surgery, with resolving bruising and pink incisions due to robust blood flow.  You can see how much her nipples have been lifted by comparing their position in relation to her old right breast scar before surgery versus after.

She is ready to begin scar therapy, which consists of using a scar gel twice daily and performing scar massage.  Despite the healing incisions, she already loves her breasts!
