Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 57-year-old woman. She had always been curvy and voluptuous, but after menopause her breasts “really got out of control.” She was hoping to keep a proportional breast size but to alleviate the strain on her neck, shoulders and upper back and to have a lifted and shapelier breast as a result.
Nearly three quarters of a pound of excess breast tissue was removed from the lower pole of each breast. Her remaining breast tissue was rearranged and reshaped using the auto-augmentation technique. Liposuction removed excess fat from her armpits and bra rolls.
As a grand finale to her procedure, her left inverted nipple was repaired at the same time to allow improved symmetry with the right nipple and provide the nicest aesthetics for her breasts.
Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery. She feels “like herself again” and is very satisfied with her surgical results!
