Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 19-year-old woman who had lost a significant amount of weight before she presented to our office. She felt her breasts did not look like they belonged on a teenager’s body, due to their hanging and low position.
A breast reduction removed some excess breast tissue and achieved a major reshaping and lift of the breast using the auto-augmentation technique. Liposuction removed unwanted armpit fat and bra roll fullness.
Follow up photos are shown 8 months after surgery. Her scars are red but have started to fade as healing progresses. Her nipples have not yet woken up yet, evidenced by the smooth areola and non-contractile nipple. Still, she is incredibly pleased with her results thus far and loves shopping for cute little tops – where wearing a bra is completely optional!
