Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 34-year-old woman. She wanted her breasts to be a little smaller – and a lot lifted!
A breast reduction removed nearly a pound of unwanted weight from each breast. The auto-augmentation mastopexy technique reshaped her remaining breast tissue into a rounder and lifted shape. Liposuction removed excess fat from her armpits and bra rolls, together with her abdomen, flanks and pubic region.
Follow up photos are shown 18 months after surgery. Interestingly, her left nipple and areola has “woken up” – she feels normal sensation and it is contacting normally. The right nipple and areola is still numb and is smooth and enlarged. It will gradually recover just as the left nipple did, which will create improved symmetry to her results.
In the meantime, she feels much happier with her breast size and shape, is thrilled with her decision to have Plastic Surgery and is grateful we helped her to achieve her goals!
