Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 52-year-old woman. She wanted her breasts to be lifted, perkier and rounder, in addition to being a little smaller.
A breast reduction using the superomedial pedicle technique (our go-to pedicle, which describes the blood supply to the nipple) and the auto-augmentation mastopexy technique of reshaping the breast achieved all of her goals in under three hours!
Liposuction removed excess fat from her armpits and bra rolls, known as the axillary rolls. After surgery, she took a full month off work and delayed her big vacation for three months after surgery.
Follow up photos are shown 2 months after surgery. Note the relative position of her nipples with respect to her left upper chest scar before and after surgery – the distance the nipple has been lifted is impressive!
