Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 44-year-old woman. She had always been large-breasted, but after having children, her breasts grew significantly in size, causing pain in her neck, shoulders and upper back.
A breast reduction removed over three pounds of breast tissue from each breast. Liposuction removed a liter and a half of fat from her armpits and bra rolls. After surgery, she took a month off work and resumed walking her 150-pound dog three miles a day at six weeks postop.
Follow up photos are shown 16 months after surgery. Her scars continue to mature, and she is enjoying exercising where she has to bounce up and down for the first time – ever!
