Before and after bilateral breast reduction and liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 52 year old woman. She was tired of her heavy breasts pulling on her neck, shoulders and upper back; she couldn’t wait to remove her bra as soon as she got home from work. As she did not find a local Plastic Surgeon she felt comfortable with, she traveled to San Francisco for this life-changing procedure.
A breast reduction removed some of her bottom-heavy breast tissue but left a proportional amount of tissue behind. The “auto-augmentation” breast lift technique reshaped the remaining breast and moved it up higher on her chest.
Follow up photos are shown just 6 weeks after surgery. She flew home with her helper at one month postop and she is now recovering with her family and resuming exercise. Her follow-up visits will be on video – scar therapy education is next – and we will see her in person at one year postop.
