Before and after bilateral breast reduction and liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 49 year old woman. Her breasts were pendulous, heavy and caused neck pain, shoulder grooving and chronic upper back strain.
A breast reduction removed a good amount of heavy breast tissue from the lower pole of her breast, but left a proportional amount of breast tissue behind. Her breasts were reshaped to a more round and perky shape that sat higher up on her chest. Liposuction removed fat from her armpits, bra rolls and upper back, known as the axillary rolls.
Follow up photos are shown 8 months after surgery. She is doing scar therapy, a found a new love for exercise and finds shopping for new tops fun!
