Before and after bilateral breast reduction in a 34 year old woman with considerable preoperative breast asymmetry. She was married and had not had children yet, but she didn’t want to wait for years to have breast reduction surgery.
A breast reduction removed excess heavy breast tissue, primarily from the lower pole and the sides of her breasts. Her breast tissue was rearranged into a perkier, smaller but proportional shape. Liposuction removed excess fat from her armpit region (axillary rolls) and the sides of her breasts.
Follow up photos are shown 4 months after surgery. Most of her surgical swelling has resolved and her nerves are starting to wake up. She is doing scar therapy and is back running several miles a day, wearing only one soft sports bra!
