Before and after bilateral breast reduction in a 49 year old woman. She had finished having children and found her breasts had lost their structure, with drooping and asymmetry.
A breast reduction removed excess breast tissue and reshaped the remainder of her breasts. Liposuction of the axillary rolls de-fatted her armpits and bra roll region.
Early follow up photos are shown 6 weeks after surgery. She is ready to learn about scar therapy and return to exercise without restrictions. Swelling in the sides of her breasts creating fullness and puckers of the skin (edema) will resolve over the next few months.
