Before and after breast reduction in a 47 year old woman. Her breasts had grown out of proportion to her body after having children and going through early menopause. Her nipples drooped nearly to her belly button!
This patient’s goal was “to still feel like myself”, but to be less heavy with less chronic strain on her neck and upper back. She didn’t want to look fake, but natural with a teardrop breast shape and to still have a proportionate amount of breast volume.
A breast reduction removed some (but not all) of her breast tissue and reshaped her breasts to be more proportional to the rest of her body. Follow up photos are shown 7 months after surgery. Her scars are maturing nicely and she has achieved her goals.
