Before and after bilateral breast reduction in a 29 year old woman. She had been dealing with oversized breasts since high school and was finally ready to take control of her body and her life! She was the ideal candidate for a breast reduction.
A breast reduction removed excess heavy breast tissue and reshaped her breasts to be more perky, youthful and proportional to her body. Liposuction of the axillary rolls defatted the sides of her breasts and the back fat/bra roll area.
Follow up photos are shown at 7 months after surgery. Her scars are fading and she got used to her new breast size within around a month! She resumed exercise without restrictions at 6 weeks and took a full month off work. The firm swelling at the sides of her breasts, known as edema, will continue to soften over time.
